April Showers: Between the Lines

You can find public domain poetry here.

You can read and listen to someone read the poem-a-day if you want to catch up on what’s happened this month.

What are you writing this month? Let me know!

We can talk about whatever you need.

STRUGGLES AND SUCCESSES

It’s going well. ASD has over 7k words and I’m determined to get to 10k this week.

The poetry challenge has been a good exercise but hasn’t yielded what I’d hoped. Still I have a couple good ideas. They mostly involve local animals.

I’m still sharing poetry I’ve written. Just written before this month. I hope you like it.

Jackson Pollock
linsey ewing

What I wouldn’t give to touch a Pollock painting.

Even an ugly one.

Run my hand across it in one bumpy swipe.

Slice my hand up

and bleed.

Then I would be part of it

and it of me.

It’s all too much
linsey ewing

To lose and gain

In the same space

To feel so much

Love and loss.

Open hearts hurt

Closed hearts rot

Pain is useful

To let us know

We are living.
